Many men grow up believing they should cope on their own or stay strong and keep going even when struggling. As a result, they often seek support later than they might have done by which point stress, anxiety or burnout has started affecting work, relationships or general wellbeing.
My aim is to provide a non-judgemental and confidential space where professional men can make sense of what’s happening and find practical ways to move forward.
Although I have this interest I do continue to welcome clients of all genders - see my general counselling page here

Flexible appointments that fit around your life
Many clients are used to making the most of limited time.
Therapy can work in the same way.
I provide therapy that fits around you as there isn’t a “one size fits all” approach.
Some people benefit from taking time to explore things in depth whereas others have a clear issue they want to focus on or prefer shorter more frequent appointments around work and family commitments.
I offer therapy that fits the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit one model of therapy.
That is why I offer 30-60-and-90-minute appointments. Together, we’ll decide which format best supports your goals. The right session isn’t what is shortest or longest – it’s the one that wors best for you.

Appointment Structures
Initial Consultation | £65
New clients are required to attend a 60-minute initial consultation appointment (slightly reduced cost to normal sessions). The initial consultation is designed to assist with rapport building and understanding a client’s circumstances which requires longer than 30 minutes. After this the client can choose the session length that best meets their needs.
Therapy Packages
Therapy packages provide continuity of care and represent a commitment to your wellbeing while offering a saving compared with booking individual appointments.
-
Sessions must all be the same duration (60 or 90 minutes).
-
Packages are payable in full in advance.
-
Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Standard cancellation terms continue to apply.

Counselling falls under the umbrella term of a 'talking therapy'. When a person attends counselling they are able to discuss their problems, issues and concerns in a safe and confidential environment. People will attend counselling for many different reasons but it is often because they want to change something in their lives or to explore their thoughts and feelings about something in more depth.
What will a counselling session be like?
During a counselling session, you’ll be provided with the opportunity to openly discuss your emotions, thoughts, worries, and concerns. This may sometimes involve talking about difficult memories or traumatic events, which is an important step toward helping you move forward and work toward your goals.
I won’t offer advice or tell you what to do. Instead, I’ll listen to you in a non-judgmental and empathetic way, seeing your experiences from your perspective. Together, we’ll explore the best solutions, actions, or next steps that align with what feels right for you.
Can I end counselling at any time?
You are free to end counselling at any time. However, endings (sometimes called termination of counselling) in counselling is just as important as the counselling itself.
